I remember the days when I would post a blog in multiply about a person whom I really hate or get irritated to.
The days when I would rant and vent out everything about the stressful work in school. And cry to everyone for help. or advice. whatever
The days when I was so obsessed with my crush. She was mentioned on almost all of my blogs, with a codename of course. Yeah, I know right? She. :))
The times when I blog almost everyday or even more than once a day because I just feel like it. But mind you, they're all nonsense. I just seek attention.
The emotional blogs I wrote which I am laughing at right now. I've been a silly girl, I swear.
I remember the pictures I posted.
pictures of starbucks cup with my name on it because it's sooo "uso".
pictures with my friends having fun wearing our plaid or gala uniforms because we look so cool wearing those. more pictures with friends, better.
pictures with the ever so vain komu. album pictures would prolly exceed 100 or 200.
I remember asking people to comment on my multiply because it would be really cool if a lot of people would comment on it. like 50+ comments would really cheer me up.
I remember posting funny videos. Those that would immediately catch attention and comments!
Those with precious memories that I can share with the people I love, hate, whatever.
Childish.
I see myself in the posts of the lower batches. of the younger people. I saw me in them somehow. I find it funny. :)) No offense :)
Now, I realized that I've become different. No more hate blogs. No more nonsense posts. (if it's nonsense I post it privately). And I'm not posting this to get lots and lots of comments. I'm posting this for the people to see. For all the multiply-ers who knew me since second year. just viewers. you can still comment though if you know you should say something :))
Once, I had my chance to prove that I have grown up. People thought I was when I had a boyfriend. But because of that fear of growing up, I masked myself with the old me. Again, how childish. I don't blame others why they won't buy my "innocent" act. I was kinda caught up in between. (I'm still innocent though. Innocence is different from being childish)
Anyway, I am now surrounded by people who treat me differently.Them, who had no idea of my life in the past. Clean slate. Now, I feel like a normal person. Something that I've been wanting to feel. So I guess this is it. Bye highschool Athena. I'll miss youuuuu.
hindi ako emo okay. eww no no. :))

I'm back!
I was kinda amused while reading my past blog entries. LOL
My summer's about to end. Wow and it's been a year? A year and 2 months since I last updated this. Anyway, 4 months after my March 24 "oh summer", I met my Alec. Felt like yesterday when I was overly obsessed with my classmate (she's a girl). Now I have him. He's sweet and fun to be with. I feel so lucky! Oh, we just had our 10th monthsary last May 26.
Okay, I did mention that my summer's about to end. I'll be studying in UST for college and I soo love my course, Medical Technolgy. I love my sched too! I'm gonna have lots of time to sleep. Isn't that cool? And what's cooler is, Alec studies in UST too. Aww! Someone to help me out and guide me whenever I have problems. HAHA, kidding. But I know, I shouldn't depend on him and abuse his kindness. No. I should grow up!
It's sunday 3:33pm. I'll be eating my lunch and get ready for church. One more week and I'm off to manila! Since I'm soo contented with my summer, I think I'm ready to face my professor. Kidding. I'm ready to face my college life. :)

Oh summer
Should I be posting something about my day? Foine. My day was great. I can't even remember what happened. Wait a sec.
..
..
..
..
Oh yeah, I slept the whole day. :)) HAHA
Soo.. what's great about summer? I get to be Lazy. I've been stressed the past few weeks and it's time to throw off the towel. wheew. At last, I get to sleep whenever I want to.
There was a college talk a while ago. And there's this bigheaded guy who happens to be a successful entrepreneur. He spoke in straight english (like woah) while showing a powerpoint he made to brag about the school he owned and his achievements. Say, Do I like him? No? HAHA. I actually like him (Not the like like okay. ew he's old) because he's a risk taker. He's also an effective speaker.. I bet he inspired a lot of students to become entrepreneurs. I was inspired! but nah,.. Imma take medicine cause that's really my dream.
Another effective speaker was Ms. Tina. She represents Assumption College. Oohh yeah, she's cool. haha! I like her sense of humor. I didn't get bored either. She told us about the benefits of studying in AC.. like having nice jobs and all... but again. I won't study communications or business management because I've made up my mind : but I want to study in AC! oh well. I'll have to study in UST. wooh go uste!
There were a lot of speakers... I only listened to 3. The rest of them.. I dozed off.
Went home after the talk. I was still in uniform and I ran straight to the sofa. Again, I dozed off. I had a series of dreams.. really, really weird ones. When I woke up, It's 2 am. great. Explains why it took time for me to remember what happened. Actually, that was just a short recall. Or was it really short because I did nothing but snooze all day? yeah, I guess so. Right after waking up, what I did was, Internet. Eat. Internet. I can smell the food that my dad cooks right now. It's 6:30 am by the way.
I have an important announcement:
I'm not crazy anymore. HAHA. Define crazy.
Crazy- infatuated with someone whom you shouldn't be infatuated with.
Get it, get it? HAHA.

Philippines needs love!
Oh yes, this is the sad truth about us, Filipinos.. Do we really love our country? Read these 2 relevant essays :> I hope you'll like the second one because I made it. haha kidding.
-----MY SHORT ESSAY ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES> Jaeyoun Kim
Filipinos always complain about the corruption in the Philippines . Do you really think the corruption is the problem of the Philippines ? I do not think so. I strongly believe that the problem is the lack of love for the Philippines .
Let me first talk about my country, Korea . It might help you understand my point. After the Korean War, South Korea was one of the poorest countries in the world. Koreans had to start from scratch because entire country was destroyed after the Korean War, and we had no natural resources.
Koreans used to talk about the Philippines , for Filipinos were very rich in Asia . We envy Filipinos. Koreans really wanted to be well off like Filipinos. Many Koreans died of famine. My father & brother also died because of famine. Korean government was very corrupt and is still very corrupt beyond your imagination, but Korea was able to develop dramatically because Koreans really did their best for the common good with their heart burning with patriotism. Koreans did not work just for themselves but also for their neighborhood and country. Education inspired young men with the spirit of patriotism. 40 years ago, President Park took over the government to reform Korea .. He tried to borrow money from other countries, but it was not possible to get a loan and attract a foreign investment because the economic situation of South Korea was so bad. Korea had only three factories. So, President Park sent many mine workers and nurses to Germany so that they could send money to Korea to build a factory. They had to go through horrible experience.
In 1964, President Park visited Germany to borrow money. Hundred of Koreans in Germany came to the airport to welcome him and cried there as they sawthe President Park . They asked to him, 'President, when can we be well off?' That was the only question everyone asked to him. President Park cried with them and promised them that Korea would be well off if everyone works hard for Korea , and the Presidentof Germany got the strong impression on them and lent money to Korea . So, President Park was able to build many factories in Korea . He always asked Koreans to love their country from their heart.
Many Korean scientists and engineers in the USA came back to Korea to help developing country because they wanted their country to be well off. Though they received very small salary, they did their best for Korea . They always hoped that their children would live in well off country. My parents always brought me to the places where poor and physically handicapped people live. They wanted me to understand their life and help them. I also worked for Catholic Church when I was in the army. The only thing I learned from Catholic Church was that we have to love our neighborhood. And, I have loved my neighborhood. Have you cried for the Philippines ? I have cried for my country several times. I also cried for the Philippines because of so many poor people. I have been to the New Bilibid prison. What made me sad in the prison were the prisoners who do not have any love for their country. They goto mass and work for Church. They pray everyday. However, they do not love the Philippines . I talked to two prisoners at the maximum-security compound, and both of them said that they would leave the Philippines right after they are released from the prison. They said that they would start a new life in other countries and never come back to the Philippines .
Many Koreans have a great love for Korea so that we were able to share our wealth with our neighborhood. The owners of factory and company were distributed their profit to their employees fairly so that employees could buy what they needed and saved money for the future and their children.
When I was in Korea , I had a very strong faith and wanted to be a priest. However, when I came to the Philippines , I completely lost my faith. I was very confused when I saw many unbelievable situations in the Philippines . Street kids always make me sad, and I see them everyday.
The Philippines is the only Catholic country in Asia , but there are too many poor people here. People go to church every Sunday to pray, but nothing has been changed.
My parents came to the Philippines last week and saw this situation. They told me that Korea was much poorer than the present Philippines when they were young. They are so sorry that there are so many beggars and street kids. When we went to Pasangjan, I forced my parents to take a boat because it would fun. However, they were not happy after taking a boat. They said that they would not take the boatagain because they were sympathized the boatmen, for the boatmen were very poor and had a small frame. Most of people just took a boat and enjoyed it. But, my parents did not enjoy it because of love for them.
My mother who has been working for Catholic Church since I was very young told me that if we just go to mass without changing ourselves, we are not Catholicindeed. Faith should come with action. She added that I have to love Filipinos and do good things for them because all of us are same and have received a great love from God.
I want Filipinos to love their neighborhood and country as much as they love God so that the Philippines will be well off. I am sure that love is the keyword, which Filipinos should remember. We cannot change the sinful structure at once. It should start from person. Love must start in everybody, in a small scale and have to grow. A lot of things happen if we open up to love. Let's put away our prejudices and look at our worries with our new eyes.
I discover that every person is worthy to be loved.
Trust in love, because it makes changes possible.
Love changes you and me. It changes people, contexts and relationships. It changes the world. Please love your neighborhood and country.
Jesus Christ said that whatever we do to others we do to Him. In the Philippines , there is God for people who are abused and abandoned. There is God who is crying for love.
If you have a child, teach them how to love the Philippines . Teach them why they have to love their neighborhood and country. You already know that God also will be very happy if you love others.
That's all I really want to ask you Filipinos.

MY OWN ESSAY ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES
(trust me, this one's shorter)
We want a better life for our family.. kaya we leave dahil walang manyayari satin dito. Bakit? May ginagawa ba tayo?
Do you care for our country? AS A WHOLE? magkaiba ang care sa kapwa at sa country. If you care for your country, then you care for others; but it doesn't mean that caring for others is already caring for your country. PERO it will lead to caring for your country and the world. Na-geget nio ba ako or ako lang ang nakaka get sa sarili ko? Ano ba talaga ang gusto ko sabihin? extend your love.. if you love others, isama mo na ung country! pati ung world! pati ung ENVIRONMENT! plants, animals, harmless insects (kasi ayoko ng ipis eh)
Ano ba problems ng Pilipinas? teka, mahabang listahan toh..
Undisciplined na mga tao. Reckless drivers, nagmomotor, tagalog specials [counter flow tpos singit]. dahil jan maraming accidents, style ng pag snatch, gastos sa repairs ng damage or pag papagamot sa naaksidente.
Tamad.
Blame others. For example, ung stampede sa ultra. Sisihin din daw ba ang government? Hello, connection? ginusto ba nila mamatay ung mga tao? Konting something lng, sisihin ang ganito, sisihin ang ganyan. Stop it. Oh tapos ano? May manyayari ba? Blaming is the least thing that you can do. lalo na ung pakekealam [negative]. If you truly care, then take action! Show off lang ung mga naninisi eh.
Lies: lagot ako papatayin ako eh/ ok lang may bayad naman. which leads to
Corruption. Enough said. no need for an explanation. PS: not only the administration but also the opposition.
Where is the love? All of them are factors ng kaguluhan dito at hindi lang isa ang problema natin. Look again, all of them are connected. Diba diba?
I'm against it. Umaayos naman ung economy natin ah? Bakit mukang magulo? What about the positive na palagay ko marami? Wala, hindi alam ng mga tao. Kaya hala sige, rally. Anu ba!
What if EVERY FILIPINO will pray for the country EVERYDAY, SABAY-SABAY? hindi lang truth, kulang pa yon.

All I want
First of all, I'm not materialistic. I don't care if my phone isn't the latest model, i don't care if I don't have an ipod.. but I have soo, it's all good.. I don't care about brands of clothes as long as it's cute and comfy. Quality is somehow important for me.
So what am I trying to say? Material things don't matter to me. All I want is to touch her hair, to visit her house, to be her close friend, and to wear her jacket.. even just for once!! that's my ultimate dream! Lol kidding! Why can't I be like others whom she like? Dunno. Whatever.

The Beauty of September
So many things happened.. funny thing is, I've owned this blog for months and I still can't figure out how to use it.. why do some blogs have tagboards? do I have a tagboard or I just didn't see it? haha! How to have a tagboard.. ?
Anyway, I overheard something from someone and I don't know if it's supposed to be good or bad. I was rejoicing when I heard it.. MUSIC TO MY EARS!! haha! but I think i'm being selfish. I remember the quote that my friend, louise sent me,
"The sad situation is not the discovery that your prince is comitted to someone else... what's truly pathetic is how you try to snatch the princess role for yourself... when really, you're just the witch who gets in the way.."
Everytime I see that someone, I always remember that quote.. Wait a minute, I'm not the witch! I'm not even doing anything! It's just hard to escape from the "love team" because people always bring both of us together.
---
A while ago, our teacher made us do an activity. It's really interesting for me because the task was: If you have a chance to ask God one question, what would it be?
An idea suddenly popped into my mind, something that I was really wondering about..
"Philippines has always been a religous country and majority of the people believe and have faith in God, but why do Filipinos encounter a lot of difficulties?"
Do I sound mean, unreligous, doubtful or what? I dunno.. but come to think of it, compared to other countries, morality is very important to the Filipinos. We have values, we love God, but what is happening to our country?
Hey, I'm not blaming God. Of course, He never wanted anything bad to happen to His "children".. I just wish that God will bless our country: the government with corrupt officials, the antagonist opposition who always talk and complain but are they doing anything to help improve our country? [yea, they're just good in opening their mouths but not using their hands : they only use their hands to get money.. :], the people who are not disciplined and those who haven't found God yet. Please bless our country, I hope that every citizen is also praying the same thing.. :)

what I think of AA girls..
eto, opinion ko to.. I transferred from TUMCS to Assumption Antipolo 4 years ago... So nanibago ako sa attitude ng students.
AA girls are very sweet and friendly. kasi from where I came from, khet magkakilala kau, wala talagang pansinan pero sa AA, pag magkakilala kayo, talagang tatawagin ung pangalan mo para mag "hi athena!" kaya some people think i'm snob coz i'm not used to those things. Hindi sila nahihiyang mag "i love you" and "i miss you" sa friends nila, coz some people think it's corny.
If you feel they feel pretty, talagang isisigaw nila "ang ganda ko!". Siguro it's either we hate people who are "feeling" or we're just plain humble! haha! or both?
Usually ang new students, nagiging popular. Syempre new girl! You just have to play your cards right para magtuloy-tuloy...
**sa totoo lang, sa assumption ko lng natutunan ang term na "popular" or "it crowd" kasi dati, I don't understand everything about it at all.. mei nagtanong pa nga sakin dati, "popular ka ba sa dati niong school?" i said yes kasi kilala naman ako sa school ko kasi matagal na ko dun at sumasali pa ko sa contests and nag rurun ako sa student goverment kaya popular. Akala ko talaga popular means that a lot of people know you, un pala there's more meaning than that. nainis tuloy sakin ung nagtanong!**
It's not because of looks and material things mehn!
Sa speech and sa pananamit medyo maarte pa pero when I say maarte, un ung ayaw lumapit sa mga bata jan sa tabi tabi, ayaw magtrabaho- ung "dirty work" and going to clean places ONLY. Pero I was wrong, SO WRONG! why? kasi, AA students love to serve people. Ung mga bata sa orphanage, mga marginalized people, and many more. Mei wet market exposure pa kami. Tpos in school, we sit anywhere. sa floor, sa concrete, sa grass, etc.
Assumption family has a big heart. Sobrang generous talaga! When our batch went to tahanang walang hagdan, ung pinaka head dun told us pa nga na mabaet tlga students ng AA kasi nagshshare kami ng food. We don't want to make them feel na nakakaawa ung kalagayan nila at hindi din naman namin tinatarayan.
AA students hate FC, hahahaha! dati nagtataka ako kung anu ibig sabihin ng FC. I kept on asking people, "what's FC?". Feeling close pala ibig sabihin nun.
A friend told me na compared to other schools, better daw tayo. Masmabaet daw tayo.. Un naman, kagulat noh?! hahahaha!
AA students have confidence and class. when you want to be an officer, hindi ka na ung pipilitin pa ng mga classmates mo para magrun pero deep inside gustong gusto mo. Talagang magvovolunteer if you know you can serve and you know that you can do it! When we're outside the school naman, we speak and dress ourselves with confidence. Mei nagsabi sakin, kitang kita mo talaga sa isang tao kung san sia nag aaral by the way she speaks and the way she dresses.
AA girls hate to see people na mas maarte pa sa kanila. Am I right or am I right? haha! diba nga kasi, ayaw natin ng feeling?! For us, nag iinarte na ung mga ganung tao khet ganun na tlga sila or khet minsan totoo ngang nag iinarte.. haha!
Ayan ang opinion ko about assumptionistas. Seriously, marami akong natutunan sa Assumption Antipolo and I mean everything i've said. It really made me a better person, thanks to this school. =D
